Unity in Form - Building Beyond Boundaries

Nova Formworks brings India’s No. 1 Plastic Formwork System to the world stage at The Big 5 Global 2025, Dubai.

Nova Formworks redefined construction in India with its modular plastic formwork system - a proven technology for sustainable, efficient, and people-first building. Beyond traditional structures, our lightweight, non-toxic, and sustainable panels are the engineering tool of choice for Global infrastructure, including Tunnels, WTPs, STPs, Water Tanks, Underpasses, and Defence Bunkers. Hear it all from Nova’s Chief Managing Director.

“Innovation doesn’t end with invention it begins with every challenge we solve.”

Q. What does Nova’s debut signifies at The Big 5 Global represent?

It’s more than a participation - it’s representation. We’re bringing India’s innovation to a global platform that celebrates progress and collaboration. Nova Plastic Formworks was born from a simple problem: construction was delayed with no sustainability. We saw the damage caused by plywood and steel shuttering - material waste, high labor dependency, and poor quality finishes - and decided to engineer a better solution.

That idea evolved into India’s first patented modular plastic formwork system, now deployed in 1,500+ projects. Participating in The Big 5 Global is a moment of pride - it’s where our journey meets the world’s curiosity for smarter construction.

How does Nova blend innovation with on-site simplicity?

At Nova, technology is not a buzzword - it’s a bridge. We’ve always believed that the true measure of innovation is not how advanced it is, but how accessible it becomes.

We’ve integrated design tools, Nova Welding Robots, and 3D digital modeling to ensure that every panel we produce is accurate, durable, and ready to perform. But beyond that, technology helps us simplify - it reduces manual dependency, enhances worker safety, and improves on-site efficiency.

We want technology to feel invisible - something that supports builders, not overwhelms them. When our clients can assemble a complex structure effortlessly, that’s when we know technology is doing its real job.

How is Nova driving sustainable change in construction?

Sustainability isn’t a separate goal for us - it’s built into everything we design and produce. By replacing plywood, we cut deforestation, reduce site waste, and lower carbon emissions - helping builders move closer to their ESG targets with every pour.

We’ve also transformed our own operations through solar-powered manufacturing and zero-waste production, ensuring that our processes reflect the same eco-values as our products. Nova’s sustainability goes beyond materials - it’s about performance that protects the environment too.

In WTPs, STPs, and large water tank projects, our leakproof, seamless joint design and lightweight panels have delivered precision casting with zero seepage and minimal energy use. For us, sustainable transformation isn’t about less harm - it’s about creating , recyclable, smarter, cleaner systems that give more back to the planet than they take.

What makes Nova Formworks a resilient force in construction?

For us, resilience means performing reliably under any condition. Our modular plastic formwork delivers consistent quality and speed across every project - from urban towers to remote terrains. When we supplied box culverts and bunker formworks in Leh, Ladakh, and Kashmir, resilience took on a new meaning. With just six workable months in extreme winters, traditional steel formwork was too heavy and time-consuming. Nova’s lightweight, weather-resistant plastic panels replaced steel formworks, enabling faster setup, superior finish, and on-time completion - even in extremely cold conditions.

That’s resilience in action - systems that don’t just endure the elements but turn challenges into performance advantages.

How is Nova shaping the next generation of builders?

We’ve always believed that the true foundation of construction is people. A product is only as powerful as the hands that use it.

That’s why we design our systems for simplicity - panels that can be assembled without high-skill labor, saving both time and effort. We train thousands of workers on-site through demonstration projects, tutorials, and practical guidance. And through this process, something beautiful happens - people who once doubted their abilities start building with confidence and pride.

Empowerment, for us, isn’t limited to the construction site. It extends to how we treat our workforce through safety programs and welfare initiatives.

We don’t just manufacture panels, we nurture people who can build the future with us.

With the growing conversation around safety and workforce well-being, how isNova contributing to safer construction practices?

Safety isn’t an afterthought; it’s engineered into the product. Our panels are lightweight, non-toxic, and smooth-edged, eliminating the risks of injuries, cuts, and handling fatigue common with steel and timber systems. We’ve also adopted strict HSE frameworks across our manufacturing units - from daily toolbox talks to mandatory PPE compliance.

Every Nova innovation must pass one test first - “Is it safer for the person using it?” If the answer isn’t yes, it doesn’t leave the factory.

What message would you give to global visitors meeting Nova for the first time at The Big 5 Global 2025?

Come experience what “Made in India” truly stands for today - innovation that’s intelligent, inclusive, and inspired. Our panels don’t just build walls; they build trust. We invite everyone to see how a simple idea from India is shaping a global movement for smarter, faster, greener construction.
