Engineering Motion. Powering Progress-Mishel Hydraulics

What sets Mishel Hydraulics apart from other hydraulic cylinder and component manufacturers in India and globally?

At Mishel Hydraulics, we don’t just manufacture cylinders — we engineer solutions that move industries forward. Every cylinder we build is a testament to our dedication to precision design, robust manufacturing and unwavering quality.

From demanding construction sites to intricate industrial machinery, our hydraulic systems are designed to perform — reliably, efficiently and powerfully — no matter the challenge. With a clear commitment to innovation and excellence, we help our customers achieve smooth operation, minimal downtime and maximum impact in their operations.

How has the company’s journey been since its founding — especially in terms of R&D, scaling up production, and adapting to evolving industrial demands?

Mishel Hydraulics founded in 2023 September 17th. Commercial production started in January 2024 with 418 cylinder’s and we have scaled up our production to 7000 cylinders within a year to meet the customer demand. With inhouse Engineering team more than 75 new cylinder models developed as per the customer requirements for various demanding applications within a short span of time.

Can you explain the range of operating pressures and bore/stroke sizes your hydraulic cylinders cover, and how do you ensure performance & reliability at the higher end (e.g. 350 bar, long strokes)?

Generally the range of operating pressure will be 10 bar to 210 bar. For heavy duty applications our cylinders are capable of operating up to 500 bar. From 25 mm bore size to 350 mm bore size we have the capacity with stroke length up to 5000 mm. Every cylinder design will be validated before taken up for bulk manufacturing. Robust engineering and quality setup will ensure the performance and reliability at extreme pressure, temperature and speed.

What sealing and port/mounting options do you offer, and how do they influence cylinder life, maintenance frequency, and compatibility with different industries/applications?

Seals for demanding applications Light duty, Medium duty and Heavy duty with Low/High temperature, Low/High speed and with low friction. Port options available Metric Port, BSP port, NPT Ports, SAE Flange Port and custom ports available. Mounting options available from Male clevis, Female clevis, Trunnion, Foot Lug, Flange etc. Cylinder mounting will have greater influence on cylinder life. Cylinder shall be free from side loads with proper mountings to have greater life. Maintenance frequency of cylinder primarily depends upon the cylinder oil cleanliness level. Hydraulic power unit shall have better filtration and oil temperature to be maintained with in limits. Cylinders are compatible for most of the hydraulic mineral oils. For special oil media we have special seals. For marine, mining and oil & Gas applications we have customized cylinders.

What are some of the most demanding custom cylinder requirements you’ve handled, such as unique mounting, sensors, or extreme environments, and how did you overcome them?

Double end rod Cylinders with high resolution stroke measuring sensors working at harsh environment developed for Marine steering application. We overcome with Field study of application, 3D model Fitment analysis, FEA analysis, Prototype testing and validation at our inhouse test bench and field trials along with customer team.

How do you ensure seamless integration of cylinders with motors, pumps, valves, and power packs, especially in balancing flow, pressure, and control response?

Mishel hydraulics is a part of Mechatronics group. Mechatronics Group delivers smart automation solutions by integrating hydraulic system with cylinders. With decades of expertise, we engineer efficiency, precision and performance across industries. We seamlessly integrate cylinders with power unit with optimum pressure, flow and power through control system and sensors.
