ZF strengthens its technology footprint in India with the launch of an expanded facility in Hyderabad

its headcount in the last couple of years even during the COVID pandemic

increases its support to the global and local requirements for the future of

ZF Group in India today
inaugurated its new Tech center facility at Hyderabad. Sri. KT Rama Rao,
Cabinet Minister for IT E&C (Electronics & Communication), MA&UD
(Municipal Administration & Urban Development) and Industries &
Commerce Departments, State of Telangana, inaugurated this facility. Mr. Jayesh
Ranjan IAS, Principal Secretary, IT E&C (Electronics & Communication),
MA&UD (Municipal Administration and Urban Development) and Industries &
Commerce Departments of the State of Telangana Government graced the occasion.
Mr. Suresh KV, President and Regional Head, ZF in India, Mr. Dirk Adamczyk, Sr.
VP Engineering Services & Solutions Innovation and Technology, and Mr.
Krishnaswamy Jambunathan, Vice President and Head Tech Center India,
represented the leadership of ZF Group and were all in attendance.
The ZF Tech Center India
inaugurated its first facility in Hyderabad in 2017 and has since continued to
grow in talent, doubling their headcount over the past two years, despite the
COVID pandemic.
As a strategic partner to
the Engineering Teams across the globe, the employees in this facility, will
focus on projects that are in core and application development, serving every
region and supporting most OEMs. Furthermore, the emphasis for growth and
talent will be in key technology areas of AI applications, Data Sciences and
Digitalization, with a strong focus in developing technologies in Digital Twin
and Simulations, Cybersecurity, and Functional Safety. The center will also be
a hub for key competencies for product development including Systems
Engineering and Project Management and supports various advanced engineering
projects in domains of System Functions as well as on Autonomous Driving.
Tech Center India is
critical for ZF Group globally in pursuing talent for the Technology Domains of
E-Mobility, ADAS, Integrated Safety and Vehicle Motion Control along with
Digitalization. It is core to the Refresh India Strategy and to enable the
Group's ambition of driving the next generation mobility, with software playing
the role of a key enabler.
The new facility is the
largest software hub for the ZF Group. Spread over 300,000 sq. ft., it offers
employees open workspaces for innovation, collaboration, and ideation. This
center also has innovation hubs where employees can contribute to the growth
and evolution of solutions and “out-of-box ideas”. The new Tech Center will
play a critical role in the growth and positioning of ZF Group globally and as
well in India.
