Wire mesh is often seen as a simple product. How important is it actually?

Wire mesh is a foundational engineering material. It is used in reinforcement, filtration, screening, protection, and industrial safety applications. From construction and mining to power, steel, agriculture, and defence, almost every core industry depends on it.

Though it is not always visible, it plays a critical role in ensuring strength, safety, and efficiency across infrastructure systems.

Fencing has become a rapidly growing application for wire mesh. What is driving this demand?

Security and infrastructure expansion are the key drivers. Modern fencing is no longer just boundary marking it is about protecting high-value assets like airports, solar parks, industrial plants, railways, and residential complexes.

Advanced solutions such as welded mesh fencing, anti-climb systems, and chain link fencing offer durability, visibility, and low maintenance, making them ideal for today’s infrastructure needs.

How do you see the future of the wire mesh industry in India?

The future is very strong. India’s growth in infrastructure, smart cities, logistics, renewable energy, and manufacturing is creating continuous demand.

The industry is shifting from basic products to engineered, customized, and corrosion-resistant solutions. Quality, precision, and sustainability will define the next phase of growth.

There was very little structured knowledge available on wire mesh despite its wide usage. I wanted to bridge that gap.
