With Liberia, Guinea Conakry, St. Martin and Mayotte, Metalgalante now exports its line of off-road concrete mixers to no less than 163 countries. That's quite an achievement, clearly demonstrating how widely appreciated this high quality, 100% Made in Italy product is. The company offers the global market a comprehensive range that includes smart off-road concrete batching plants such as Carmix 5.5XL, Carmix 3.5TT and Carmix 2.5TT Carmix (with capacities of up to 5.5 m3), the self-loading concrete mixers such as Carmix One, Carmix 25 FX (with capacities of 1 m3 and 2.5 m3 respectively), the Carsilos and off-road Dumper D6. Moreover, Carmix has always been at the forefront of technological development: Carmix 3500 TC, the flagship off-road mobile batching plant that incorporates Promix and Concrete-Mate, two innovative devices designed to ensure a perfect mix design and maximum concrete quality, is a case in point.

A vocation for export

Carmix also owes its success to a skilled sales force: since its founding in 1976, it has exported machines to numerous countries, the most important being Spain, which constituted its 'home' market for some twenty years. Following the 2007 crisis in the Iberian construction sector, Carmix focused its sales efforts on new markets and won over new customers in South America, Africa, Asia and Europe. Moreover, in 2014, the company established Apollo Carmix Equipment Ltd - a joint venture with Apollo Concrete Solutions – to produce and sell Apollo Carmix 25 FX and Apollo Carmix 4TT models throughout India. Now producing over 400 machines a year, Metalgalante continues to export its machines by strengthening its presence in key countries (e.g. in South America) and investing in Eastward expansion. From a corporate strategy viewpoint, in fact, Asian and Caucasian countries are fertile markets offering excellent growth prospects.

The agreement with Cat Rental and ARA (American Rental Association)

An in-depth understanding of foreign countries and macroeconomic variables has allowed Carmix to implement highly effective distribution agreements and partnerships. Following the 2012 agreement with CAT Rental in South America and, as of 2016, in the rest of the world, in 2017 Metalgalante joined the largest, most important US rental sector association, founded in 1955. The American Rental Association, in fact, brings together over 1000 manufacturing companies and over 10,000 rental companies. For over 60 years, it has been connecting up manufacturers, dealers and customers in the construction sector.
