The Echo product line of sawing machines is strengthened through the incorporation of the automatic version of the Multi-angle Sawing Machine - MAS designed for intelligent and more efficient production plants.

By a couple of clicks, the MAS makes accurate cuts on cured concrete slabs to the desired length. This machine can cut pre-stressed hollow-core elements or reinforced elements which are from 12 to 50 cm high.

The sawing speed is automatically regulated by the electronic power control of the motor. It reduces the wear of the saw blade. Also, when used in the same production line, it prevents the blade from being stuck in the pre-stressed element due to the deflection of the previously cut slabs.

The new MAS includes the patented “Line Detection” system. It consists of 2 steps: the printing of the cutting lines by the Automatic Plotter SmartJet® and the line detection by the Multi-angle Sawing Machine for automatic cuts.

By adding this machine, it is possible to form an intelligent production plant through the  synchronization of the work of the casting machine, the plotter and the sawing machines.  

On the production line, the automatic plotter SmartJet® follows the Extruder X-Liner or the Slipformer S-Liner at a distance of 2 meters and marks cutting lines on the fresh concrete with a special ink which sets a new calibration point for each cut of the MAS.

Afterwards, when the concrete is cured, the new automatic MAS uses its unique sensor to detect the markings and aligns the position of the blade in order to make the respective cut accordingly. This procedure allows to achieve maximum precision on each cut.

With this innovation, a complete bed can be cut automatically without any operator assistance. A range of cuts are possible: straight cuts are possible on 0° and 180° and diagonal cuts from 10° to 90° and from 90° to 170°.
