Tamil Nadu Extends CM's Rural Road Development Scheme with ₹4,000 Crore Budget
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has approved a two-year extension of the Mudalvarin Grama Saalaigal Membattu Thittam (CM’s Rural Road Development Scheme), aimed at enhancing infrastructure in rural areas. This initiative will specifically target the improvement, reinforcement, and upkeep of 10,000 kilometers of village panchayat and panchayat union roads across the state. With a substantial budget of ₹4,000 crore allocated for this purpose, the extension underscores the government's commitment to bolstering connectivity and facilitating socio-economic growth in rural Tamil Nadu.
