Samakhiali Tollway Private Limited (STPL), a subsidiary of IRB Infrastructure Developers, is set to undertake the construction of the 90.90 km Samakhiyali-Santalpur highway in Gujarat. This significant infrastructure initiative, valued at Rs 2,092 crore, will be executed under the Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) model. STPL secured financial closure through IRB Infrastructure Trust, with a consortium of lenders providing a debt support of Rs 1,446 crore. The remaining Rs 646 crore will be sourced from equity contributions and internal accruals. The project's concession period spans 20 years from the date of appointment, indicating a substantial step towards enhancing Gujarat's transportation network.
