Romania's Largest Roadbuilding Plans
Romania seeks €12 billion for road network improvements. 30% goes to the 320km A7 highway between Ploiesti and Pascani. The European Commission lent €800 million and gave €1.8 billion. Transport and road safety will be funded first. National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
Buzau-Foscani is on the A7. The 31km Vadu Pasii-Ramnicu Sarat segment would cost €266 million and take two years to build. The €296.6 million 36km route between Mandresti Muntenia and Ramnicu Sarat has 12 bridges. Bandana-Targoviste-Sinai DN71 renovations will cost €176 million.
