PM Modi Inaugurates Delhi Section of Dwarka Expressway, Unlocks NCR’s Next Luxury Hub
The
inauguration of the Delhi section of the Dwarka Expressway by Prime Minister
Shri Narendra Modi, along with a key stretch of the Urban Extension Road-II
(UER-II), marks a watershed moment for Delhi-NCR’s infrastructure and real
estate landscape. Built at an investment of nearly ₹11,000 crore, the projects
are designed to ease congestion, curb pollution, and provide seamless
connectivity between Delhi, Gurugram, IGI Airport, and other emerging hubs.
This
milestone comes on the back of record-breaking growth along the Dwarka
Expressway, which is now widely regarded as NCR’s fastest-growing luxury real
estate corridor. Over the last 6.5 years, housing prices along the expressway
have appreciated by an impressive 83%, with a 58% year-on-year spike in Q4 FY
2024-25 alone. According to PropEquity, property values nearly doubled between
2020 and 2024, from ₹9,434 per sq. ft to over ₹18,600 per sq. ft, making it one
of the most dynamic growth stories in Indian real estate.
