Nitin Gadkari Launches Rs 2,900-cr NH Projects for Connectivity in Andhra Pradesh
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has inaugurated three national highway projects in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Spanning a total length of 87 km, the projects cost Rs 2,900 crore. The first project is the Naidupate-Turpu Kanupur Section of NH-71, covering 35 km with an investment of ₹1,399 crore. The second project is the Chillakuru Cross-Krishnapatnam Port South Gate Section via Turpu Kanupur on NH-516W, spanning 36 km and valued at ₹909 crore. The third project extends the Dedicated Port Road, covering 16 km on NH-516W and NH-67, with a value of ₹610 crore. These projects aim to enhance connectivity, ensure safety for pilgrims, and boost tourism while creating employment opportunities.
