In a bold and ambitious move, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is all set to auction 300-km stretches of roads and highways using the Tolling, Operation, Maintenance, and Transfer (ToT) model. The upcoming auction includes prized assets like the 28-km Kota Bypass (NH76) and the 81-km Gwalior-Jhansi (NH75) under ToT13, along with other significant stretches. Among these are the 60-km Delhi-Meerut Expressway (NH-334 DME), the 51-km Delhi-Hapur section (NH-24 & part of DME), and the 79-km Binjabahal-Teleibani road (NH6) under ToT14. With an estimated total value ranging between Rs. 6,000 to 7,000 crore, the auction is expected to attract substantial attention from investors and players in the infrastructure sector.
