NHAI Adopts Quarterly Strategy to Raise INR 15,000 Crore for Highway Projects through InVITs

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) plans to secure INR 15,000 crore in two stages via infrastructure investment trusts (InVITs) to sustain ongoing and upcoming highway projects. Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav outlined a phased monetization strategy, with four quarterly rounds in the fiscal year. This approach ensures a consistent fund flow, mitigating potential disruptions in the event of issues during any single attempt.
