Construction of two significant national highway projects in Odisha, the Coastal Highway and the Capital Region Ring Road, will soon commence. The 413 km Coastal Highway, part of the Bharatmala project, will be built rapidly with a budget of Rs 23,882 crore. It will be constructed in three sections: Rameswar to Ratanpur, Ratanpur to Digha, and Jamujhadi to Dhamra. The detailed project report and related approvals are almost complete, clearing the way for the project's start.
