Haryana Govt Accelerates Rs 1,700-cr Karnal RR Project
The Haryana government is expediting the construction of the Karnal Ring
Road project, which aims to enhance connectivity and alleviate traffic
congestion. The six-lane circular road, spanning 34.5 kilometers, will connect
23 villages to Karnal city and National Highway 44. Land acquisition is
complete, and preparations have begun. The project, financed by the Haryana and
central governments, is expected to be completed in 2-2.5 years. The road will
improve transportation infrastructure, provide direct highway access to
neighboring villages, and reduce congestion on GT Road.
