Gadkari to Expedite ₹1,082 Crore Double-Decker Bridge Project
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari
has committed to fast-tracking the delayed ₹1,082.56 crore double-decker
cable-stayed bridge over the Krishna River, linking Somashila in Telangana and
Sangameshwar in Andhra Pradesh. This project, stalled for two years, will
enhance environmental and temple tourism, improve road safety, and reduce the
travel distance to Tirupati by 70-80 km, cutting travel time by up to 90
minutes.
