₹1,255 Crore Sanctioned for Northern Patiala Bypass
Union Minister of Road
Transport & Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, has approved ₹1,255.59 crore for
a 28.9 km, 4-lane access-controlled Northern Patiala Bypass. This strategic
development aims to reduce traffic congestion, improve connectivity, and
streamline logistics in the Patiala region. Gadkari highlighted that the bypass
would complete Patiala’s ring road, enhancing infrastructure and boosting the
local economy. This project is set to play a crucial role in modernizing the
area’s transportation network and supporting regional growth.
