Revolutionary Track Technology Debuts on Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project
A groundbreaking development is unfolding on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor as India introduces the innovative J-slab ballastless track system. This system features pre-cast track slabs with fastening devices, offering exceptional stability and speed. These slabs are supported by a robust RC track bed, each with a 300mm thickness, specially constructed for individual up and down track lines on viaduct tops. With a 2420mm width, this cutting-edge technology promises to reshape rail travel in India. To make this vision a reality, more than 14,000 MT of JIS rails and 50 molds for casting track slabs have been imported from Japan.
