Ravin Group Secures Mumbai Metro Line 3 with Cutting-Edge Fire Safety Tech
Ravin Group has partnered
with J Kumar Infraprojects to enhance safety on Mumbai’s first underground
Metro Line 3 (Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ), inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi. Their
Ignamo Fire Survival Cables, capable of withstanding fires for 120 minutes
without harmful emissions, were installed from SEEPZ to Bandra Kurla Complex in
Phase I, with Phase II extending to Colaba. These Maharashtra-manufactured
cables are vital to underground metro safety, contributing to smoother and
safer urban travel. Ravin’s role highlights India’s growing expertise in
infrastructure and safety engineering.
