Noida-Ghaziabad Metro Expansion Gains Momentum
The stalled Noida Electronic City-Sahibabad metro line, connecting RapidX corridor in Ghaziabad to metro's Blue and Red lines, is set to resume construction. The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) plans a 5.8-km route via Indirapuram. The project, delayed due to funding challenges, aims to secure a loan from the NCR Planning Board. GDA has commissioned a Detailed Project Report (DPR) from DMRC, marking progress toward bridging the metro gap in the region.
