National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has inaugurated a 130-meter steel bridge on the Delhi-Mumbai National Expressway near Vadodara for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project. Fabricated in Wardha, Maharashtra, this bridge, weighing 3000 MT, is among the longest over any national highway in India. Utilizing advanced techniques like Tor-Shear Type High Strength bolts and metallic spherical bearings, the bridge exemplifies safety and durability with a projected lifespan of 100 years. This marks a significant stride in India's infrastructure development under the "Make in India" initiative, leveraging both domestic and Japanese expertise.
