The Delhi government has tasked Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) with constructing a multi-storey bus terminal in Nehru Place, South Delhi. Covering 15,749 square meters, the project features a five-storey bus depot on a 7,735-square-meter plot, with an additional 8,014 square meters reserved for future expansion. The facility, spanning 17,225 square meters across five floors, will accommodate 120+ buses, 472 cars, and integrate airport-like facilities, anticipating the shift to 80% electric buses. The development is under a public-private partnership, aiming to enhance Delhi's public transportation infrastructure.
