Agra Metro train tunnel work was officially started by Yogi Adityanath during a ceremony held at Ramlila Maidan in front of the Agra Fort. The six-meter-long priority corridor will likely be finished six months earlier than projected. With the use of a Tunnel Boring Machine, work on two subterranean tunnels for the Ganga and Yamuna rivers began today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Bhumi Pujan event in December 2020.
