Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) has awarded three contracts worth Rs 11,256 crore to RVNL for Phase-II expansion. These contracts involve constructing underground stations, diaphragm walls, and other associated works. The first contract, valued at Rs 1,730 crore, includes building five underground stations and diaphragm walls for two stations. The second contract, worth Rs 1,461 crore, focuses on four underground stations and additional structures. The final contract, costing Rs 8,065 crore, involves constructing three underground stations and related works. The completion timelines range from 1,630 to 1,725 days for these projects.
