₹3,800 Cr Push for Connectivity: PM Inaugurates Railway and Highway Projects in Odisha

Modi has laid the foundation stone and inaugurated a series of transformative
railway and highway projects in Odisha, with a total investment of ₹3,800
crore. These projects are designed to significantly upgrade the state's
infrastructure and enhance its regional connectivity. The railway developments,
worth over ₹2,800 crore, cover key sections including
Dhenkanal-Sadashibapur-Hindol Road and Lanjigarh-Ambadola-Doikallu, aimed at
improving the efficiency of Odisha's rail network. Additionally, National
Highway projects, totaling ₹1,000 crore, will enhance the state's road
infrastructure, making travel faster and safer. These initiatives are expected
to drive economic growth, create job opportunities, and further integrate
Odisha into the national transport network, positioning the state as a key
player in India's development trajectory.
