NPG Proposes Four Infrastructure Projects Totaling Rs. 7,693.17 Crore
The Network Planning Group (NPG), during its 54th meeting under PMGatiShakti, has put forward a proposal for the development of four infrastructure projects at an estimated cost of Rs. 7,693.17 crore. These projects encompass a four-lane Thiruvananthapuram Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Kerala, with a budget of approximately Rs. 4,767.20 crore, as well as the Dahod-Bodeli-Vapi Corridor, which is allocated Rs. 1,179.33 crore. Additionally, approval has been granted for the construction of new broad gauge railway lines in Rajasthan, connecting Pushkar to Merta (estimated cost: Rs. 799.64 crore), and Merta City to Ras Railway Stations (estimated cost: Rs. 947 crore).
