Infrastructure Gaps in 130 Critical Projects get recognised within six months of the Gati Shakti Mission.
The most crucial mission of the Central Government, the Gati Shakti Mission, points out the infrastructure gap in 130 Critical Projects. And this has been done within six months of the onset of the mission.
Eighty projects have been recognised the Union Ministry of Shipping, Ports, and Waterways. Likewise, the Steel Ministry has to consider 30 projects, while the Ministry of Coal has to address 13.
It has been an estimation and a conclusion that by the year 2024, more than 1300 projects are prepared to be onboarded to the National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP). Among them, until now, 850 have already been pointed and mapped on it.
There is an aim and goal behind doing this mission or project, which serves a noble and better cause for the country. And the primary and most fundamental objective behind it is to cut down the delay, cost, and the spending of excess time so that the goal of India to achieve an economy of $5 trillion can be boosted and highly accelerated.
However, some of the areas require better attention and work. Some of them include the requirement of work on the area of the port-road linkages the Machilipatnam Port, Keni-Belekeri port and Mundra and Dahej ports. It is also having links to Malpe, Hangarkatta and Padubidri.
The government agencies responsible and the working power behind this project or mission are the Road Transport and Highways Union Ministry and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). These agencies are to conduct discussions with the Network Planning Group under the Gati Shakti Group. And this has to be done to hasten the successful execution of the mission. And also to bring into effect all the goals and objectives that have been thought about under this mission.
