In response to the 2020 India-China Galwan clash, India has fast-tracked border infrastructure projects, inaugurating 90 initiatives worth INR 2,900 crores. These projects, spanning 11 states and union territories, emphasize India's strategic pivot toward enhancing border capabilities. Roads, bridges, tunnels, and military facilities in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh play a pivotal role in enabling swift troop movement and robust supply chains. This strategic shift, prompted by Galwan, highlights India's urgency to bolster its infrastructure for military preparedness and territorial security, aiming to match China's border capabilities effectively.
