Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated several key development projects under the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation worth ₹1,003 crore in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The event, attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, saw Shah launch an 'Oxygen Park,' participate in the 'Mission 3 Million Tree Scheme,' and open a new swimming pool and gym. Shah highlighted that ₹730 crore of the investment was for Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency. He stressed the importance of environmental sustainability and urged citizens to support the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" tree planting campaign.
