Adani Group Begins Rs 25,000-cr Tajpur Deep Seaport Project
Adani Group has commenced
environmental studies for the Rs 25,000 crore Tajpur deep seaport in West
Bengal. The all-weather port, located 5 km from NH-116B and 170 km from
Kolkata, features a 12.1 m draft with tidal support of 3.9 m, allowing for
large vessels. The project involves Rs 15,000 crore investment, with an
additional Rs 10,000 crore for port-led infrastructure development.
