VE Commercial Vehicles sells 5003 units in Aug 2022
VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 5003 units in Aug 2022 as compared to 4793 units in August 2021 recording a growth of 4.4%. This includes 4893 units of Eicher brand and 110 units of Volvo brand.
Following are the key highlights for August 2022:
• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 4893 units in August 2022 as compared to 4667 units in August 2021 representing a growth of 4.8%.
• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 4530 units in August 2022 as compared to 3864 units in August 2021, representing a growth of 17.2%.
• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 363 units in August 2022 as compared to 803 units in August 2021, representing a decline of 54.8%
• Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses have recorded sales of 110 units in August 2022 as compared to 126 units in August 2021, representing a decline of 12.7%.
