L&T sends Border Roads special construction equipment
L&T Construction Equipment Limited, a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has sent the first batch of 25 special version Wheel Loaders to the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). Border Roads Organisation said the device can operate at high heights and terrible weather (BRO). BRO builds and maintains roads in hostile border locations. This project was tendered by BRO. L&T's biggest order for road building equipment.
With 'Cold Starting Kits,' these machines work in minus 20 degrees. BRO will deploy the equipment across India's Northeast, North, and Northwest.
LTCEL has supplied indigenous machinery for several government programmes, stated LTCEL Director Arvind K Garg. It has provided machinery for UN peacekeeping missions, PSUs, and the BRO, as well as private contractors constructing India's infrastructure.
LTCEL manufactures Vibratory Compactors, Pneumatic Tyred Rollers, Asphalt Pavers, Skid Steer Loaders, Wheel Loaders, and Hydraulic Excavators, plus Crusher Buckets and Slope Compactors. It also produces and distributes high-precision hydraulic components and custom systems for construction, industrial, and other technical applications.Current Issue
