Uttarakhand Attracts Massive Investments Worth Rs 18,850 Cr at Delhi Summit
During the Global Investor Summit 2023 in New Delhi, Uttarakhand government secured MoUs totaling Rs 18,850 crore. JSW Neo Energy Limited leads with Rs 15,000 crore commitment for 1,500 MW pumped storage projects in Almora. Additional investments include Rs 800 crore from Yatharth Hospital, Rs 500 crore each from DS Group and SLG, Rs 250 crore from Dixon Technology, Rs 1,000 crore from Radisson Group, and Rs 800 crore from Oberoi Group. Investment Facilitators were appointed, and projects like reservoirs and irrigation facilities, set to complete in the next five to six years, were highlighted.
