Chhattisgarh Rail Electrification: RS Infraprojects Wins ₹199.80 Cr Tender
RS Infraprojects has
clinched a ₹199.80 crore contract for the installation of an Overhead
Electrification (OHE) traction system on the Surakachhar-Sendurgarh rail
section in Chhattisgarh. As the lowest bidder, the company will oversee the
supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 25 kV, 50 Hz, single-phase
OHE system. This project is part of the new Broad Gauge (BG) electrified rail
corridor under the South East Central Railway, and includes the setup of a
Traction Substation (TSS) and switching posts to improve rail electrification
efficiency in the region.
