"The government should allow Input Tax Credit for interior works contract involved in commercial properties. For co-working players, maximum capital expenditure is involved in interior works, and hence disallowing of ITC for works contract leads to higher cost of construction. Additionally, the government should reduce GST on leasing office space from 18% to 5% considering how important this industry is for startups. Last but not the least, the government should grant industry status to Co-working as it is playing critical support to the startup ecosystem."
