India And Maldives Signed A $100 Million Infrastructure Deal.
Maldives and India agreed on a $100 million Line of Credit. Finance Minister Ibrahim Ameer and EXIM Bank of India General Manager Nirmit Ved signed the agreement at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This agreement will streamline and expedite Maldive's infrastructure projects. Today's deal shows India's commitment to enhancing Maldives' socioeconomic and public welfare. President Solih said India is the Maldives' closest ally. The President thanked the Indian government for its ongoing support of the Maldives.
