The completion of the Noida International Airport (NIA) has been rescheduled to April 2025, extending beyond the initial timeline due to delays in constructing the terminal building. Yamuna International Airport Pvt Ltd (YIAPL), managing the project, attributed the setback partly to challenges in securing "special grade steel" required for the terminal's roof. This delay marks a significant setback for one of India's major infrastructure projects, impacting the airport's anticipated operational debut.
