L&T Construction's Buildings & Factories wing has successfully secured a significant contract worth Rs. 5,000 crore from GMR Visakhapatnam International Airport Limited. The project entails the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of the Bhogapuram International Airport in Andhra Pradesh. This greenfield airport initiative is set to accommodate 6 million passengers per annum (MPA) initially, with provisions for future expansion to handle up to 12 MPA. The investment emphasizes the region's infrastructure growth and L&T's pivotal role in shaping the aviation landscape in Andhra Pradesh.
