Engineering giants Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and NCC Ltd have submitted bids for the Hyderabad Airport Metro Rail project. The 5,688 crore tender for the Raidurg-Airport stretch was opened by Hyderabad Airport Metro Ltd (HAML). Out of the 13 interested firms, only L&T and NCC participated in the bidding process. Despite recent losses, L&T, renowned for its Metro rail development expertise, seeks the project. The Telangana government fully funds the Hyderabad Airport Metro project. Both companies provided necessary documentation, including execution experience, technical and financial strengths, audited financial statements, and a 29 crore security deposit each.
