Visakhapatnam Port Authority's Rs 1,563-cr Development Projects Underway
The Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) in Andhra Pradesh, India, has
initiated nine development projects valued at Rs 1,563.16 crores. The projects
include the construction of a thermal coal berth, fertilizer handling facility,
new berths, revamping of existing berths, covered sheds, truck parking
terminal, and electrification of railway lines. These endeavors aim to boost
port infrastructure, enhance cargo handling efficiency, and support regional
trade and commerce.
