Reliance's New FPSO Collides Off The East Coast Without Injury.
The corporation said Sunday that no one was wounded when Reliance Industries Ltd.'s new floating production system crashed with a barge off the east coast.
The Ruby FPSO vessel collided with a barge on the way to the deep-water MJ gas condensate development in the Bay of Bengal. Due to heavy weather, Nor Goliath's gangway hit the FPSO's stairway, inflicting minor damage.
MJ's reservoirs are 2,000 metres below D1-D3 gas fields. Reliance owns 66.67% of KG-D6 and BP 33.3%.
