Vibrant Construction Equipments Pvt. Ltd.
What motivated your company to participate in this Uganda Buildcon International Expo?
Vibrant being one of the major manufacturer in asphalt mixing plants. The company's goal is straightforward: to provide the best equipment that gives exceptional performance while providing 24 x 7 customer care assistance. The major reason for participating at the Uganda expo was to grow and explore the East African market, as well as to research the present market situation in these countries.
What product/services did your company display at the Expo?
At Vibrant, we have a talented team of engineers and fabricators working to develop and manufacture high-quality road construction equipment. Our asphalt equipment, concrete batching plants, silos and silo accessories, and all forms of concrete batching plant parts were on display at the expo since they represent some of the most popular merchandise on the market.
How was the response? Did you have spot sales/booking during the Expo?
The reaction was unsatisfactory, and footfall was exceptionally low. In comparison, the market demand and needs were not equivalent to the quality of clients at the expo. We anticipated expecting a number of new clients from the East African region following the event, but we were unable to meet customers' requirements, resulting in no sales or bookings at the stall.
Do you have your presence in Uganda? Or was this your first experience?
Yes, Uganda was our initial entrance into the East African market. The experience and opportunity were fantastic, which will help us develop new contacts and contracts in the East African market.
What have you learned during the exhibition, write your favourite experience or moment of the event?
We've learned to be patient and to look into all possibilities for choosing a local partner. We realised at the event that adopting the regional language might help us pique the interest of the clients. We should also have collaborated with a local trader, which would have made it simpler to build trust and captivate all of the clients' attention.
Would you include Uganda in your marketing strategy now?
Yes, but we would proceed with caution. Find a local contact first, and then plan our marketing in this nation, because playing our cards in other countries with the assistance of a local trader will be a more strategic and beneficial move. We feel that our market strengths are our unmatched quality at competitive rates and attentive customer service.
