What motivated your company to participate in this Uganda Buildcon International Expo?

We have been planning to expand our footprints in international market since few years as we have good presence in Bangladesh and trying in other Asian countries, we had planned for few international exhibitions but due to covid and down fall in business after Covid pandemic, we could not participate.

We all know Africa is huge market and potential is very high so we decided to grab the opportunity and participated in exhibition.

What product/services did your company display at the Expo?

We showcased our whole range of products, we are manufacturing entire Asphalt Road Construction Equipment, except Paver Finishers.

We displayed Continues Type Asphalt Plant with updated technology of Counter Flow Drum Mix Plant.

Asphalt Batch Mix Plant, Wet Mix Macadam Plant, and ancillary Equipment like Bitumen Sprayer and Bitumen Drum Decanter.

How was the response? Did you have spot sales/booking during the Expo?

Spot sales in capital equipment is difficult in any exhibition and it was small scale show.

But we did have very good response as we know it was general exhibition where all types of engineering products were displayed, all types of means, from building materials to wooden material and almost all kind of construction machineries.  We had very good footfall at our stall in 3 days.

But we had planned to target our respective clients and we think that we can enter the Uganda market very soon.

Do you have your presence in Uganda? Or was this your first experience?

we don't have presence In Uganda. But We must say we have very good back up support available in Uganda and it will be very helpful to start business. It was first time we participated in any exhibition in African countries.

What have you learned during the exhibition, write your favourite experience or moment of the event?

We learned that Ugandans are very supportive and generous people. There is good business potential, and with the right approach we can open doors of new market.

Best moment was the official opening ceremony of the exhibition, where original culture was shown and it was really great to see live.

Would you include Uganda in your marketing strategy now?

We have already included in our marketing strategy, yet size of the market is small but comparatively we can have good business with good revenues.
