Are you going to participate in the upcoming Excon Exhibition 2022? What new products are you going to introduce to the market?

Yes! We, Coninfra Machinery Pvt Ltd (CMPL), are participating in Excon 2021 being held at Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre between May 17 to May 21, 2022. We will be in Indoor Hall 3, Stall B138. Besides our regular product range in Asphalt & Concrete Machinery – this year we will be introducing Counter Flow Drum Mix Plants & Asphalt Batch Mix Plants. Both are the need of the hour kind of products. Our loyal customers keep asking for the same and so we are thrilled to introduce these during Excon.

It's been a long time between 2019 and 2022 to be here at Excon 2022. What do you think of the company's overall performance?

As you know, after 14 Long years in family-owned company – After COVID, I have separated and started this new company Coninfra Machinery Pvt Ltd (CMPL) in October 2020. You can say this a Lockdown baby . Thanks to tremendous support from our Loyal Customers, we have grown well during this period.

Everyone has been affected by the pandemics over the last two years. Describe how challenging it was for you to remain stable in the market.

Last two years were very difficult for everyone. Things have still not stabilized in many countries, in many industrial sectors. I personally believe that in such kind of situation, only goal should be to remain stable in the market by keep adding new products and adding new market segments.

How did you and your company manage to stay stable in the current economic situation that gave rise to the demand for and cost of raw materials?

Steel prices have increased almost double since pandemic. And most other raw-material prices have increased 25 to 100%. We have realigned our production system so that wastage is minimal. Also, we have minimised our profits so that the lesser burden of raw material price increase is passed to our customers.

Tell us about a new innovation that your organisation has implemented or plans to implement.

We are planning to implement web-based ERP system so that our customers and dealers can have direct access to our web portal for ordering Spares. This will make it very easy for customers to order spares and our service team will have less burden for the same.
