Mr. Kennady V Kaippally infers in an exclusive interview given to CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY TODAY at EXCON 2019.
We believe our strongest asset is our people.

How was your experience at Excon 2019 held at Bangalore?
The experience was better than what we had expected. We were of the opinion that owing to the market conditions there would be lesser turn out as nothing much was happening. However, we are relieved that this was not the case as the market and the major players are quite optimistic. We are also witnessing things improving in the last two months than earlier, which gives us hope of seeing a revival in the near term.
How did you find the overall arrangements?
We have been participating in Excon since its 6th edition and found improvements in the arrangements, with each successive edition. However, there is a room for improvements, and we are certain that these will be addressed in future editions.
How was response for your product / services you displayed?
We had an overwhelming positive response to our products. Along with our traditional products, we had displayed a collection of new generation products for the first time in India. These evoked much curiosity and anticipation. We are very optimistic that in future, as the Indian market matures, we will see growth in these new generation of products.
Did you receive any spot sales?
Our products have a high degree of customization, so are not conducive for spot selling. What we are looking for is a platform to showcasing our solutions and latest offerings for the construction equipment industry and an opportunity to meet customers from different market segments of this industry under one roof. Such interaction makes all of us more insightful to each other outlook and we benefit from having a broader perceptive of the market.
Would you participate next time taking bigger space?
Excon continues to remain the premier exhibition for construction equipment industry in India, which makes the participation compulsive. We have participated in it from last 5 editions and we believe it make sense to participate also in its future editions.
