Kindly let us know the challenges you faced in organizing this exhibition and how did you overcome them?

Nepal Buildcon started in 2015, In the Journey of last five years we faced so many challenges starting from Logistics, Fabrication to execution of Expo. Initially the concept of B2B exhibitions was not very familiar when we started this expo and today Nepal Buildcon has become a brand in Nepal and must visit for all construction fraternity in Nepal. Expo started with 50 participants and now reach upto 200+ participants, the maximum space available at the venue. 

Were you satisfied with the response level both from the visitors and participants' point of view? What is your aftermath feeling?

As an Organiser, yes, we are satisfied with the response from Visitors and Participants, but still we believe we have to do more every year to make satisfactory results for the participants. This time we did Road Show in around 15 districts of the Nepal and understand the scope and need in construction fraternity in Nepal and to a certain extent we achieve that as we got good turnout of visitors from those districts. Next time we have planned Road show for atleast 60 days with an involvement of Local Trade Bodies and Associations. 

Did you audit the exhibition? Kindly let us know the figures of visitors and their profile.

More than 20000 + visitors attended the expo. The visitor profile at this event were majorly consisted of Contractors, Engineers, Builders, Architectures, Interior Designers, Importers, Dealers & Distributors, Corporate, Major Associations in the related segments & Government Departments and General Buyers.

Would like to repeat the same event in Nepal next year? What new segment/feature would like to add to attract more visitors?

Yes, Nepal Buildcon is annual event and will happen next year on 29th Jan – 31st Jan 2021. We are planning to have International Conference, Buyers Sellers Meet. As Nepal is tourist destination, we are targeting to bring buyers from SAARC Countries by inviting various trade associations Members to attend the expo and keep on working as a catalyst to deliver ideal business platform for the companies in Nepal.

What is your take away from this exhibition? Would you like to improve upon your own performance or you are happy with what you delivered?

The magnificent success of the exhibition is our reward and our success can be measure by the business generated by the exhibitors in this exhibition.  Almost 80% of space already been booked for 2021 and we are working to bring more Heavy Equipments companies, batching plant companies in the expo and this is the only exhibition in Nepal where they will get right buyers of their segment.
