Interview Highlights of Mr. Nitesh Modi given exclusive to CT Today
What motivated your company to participate in this 4th Bangladesh Buildcon International Expo?
Bangladesh is a developing country and there is a lot of scope in the market we deal in. We have seen the infrastructure change tremendously in the previous years and people are getting more and more interested in building a solid foundation for the country. Bangladesh is our neighbour and we wanted to take part in an initiative that would favourably result in its increased and speedy development. Apart from that, the list of participants was so diverse and inclusive that showcasing our products was a matter of pride and strategic importance. Hence, this motivated our participation in the 4th Bangladesh Buildcon International Expo.
What product/services did your company display at the Expo?
We displayed a wide range of end products, including concrete blocks, solid blocks, pavers, bricks etc. We further informed the clients about the machines that we have to offer and the after sales service that we provide to our clients. Our machines are green eco-friendly machines and this witnessed a favourable response in the Expo.
How was the response? Did you have spot sales/booking during the Expo?
This was not our first association with Bangladesh Buildcon International Expo. As usual, we saw great response. The profile of queries we received on our booth showed how immensely diverse and serious this market is. We were humbled by the interest people showed in our business concern. We definitely saw some very serious queries which we are hoping to convert in the near future.
Do you have your presence in Bangladesh? Or was this your first experience?
India has noticed the potential of Bangladesh and it is definitely not something we did not pay attention to in the past. It would be wrong for us to say that we do not have a presence in Bangladesh, but what we aim to do is to take it forward and further get a stronger stand in the market.
Would you include Bangladesh in your marketing strategy now?
This is not really a question. Bangladesh is definitely and vastly included in our marketing strategy and we wish to serve the market with utmost diligence and sincerity
