JAWS WEARLAY is known for its excellence in polyurethane products. How would you define the company’s current focus?

We have evolved far beyond just manufacturing cast polyurethane goods. Our core focus today is solving industrial wear and tear challenges through the intelligent use of advanced materials polyurethane, tungsten carbide, ceramics, and high-performance composites. Each of these materials plays a distinct role in resisting abrasion, impact, and corrosion across demanding environments like mining, aggregates, cement, and power sectors.

Our approach is not merely product-based but solution-driven we combine materials science, tribology, and field experience to engineer longer-lasting, more efficient systems for our clients.

You often mention a "multiphysics approach." Can you explain what this means in your product development?

In most conventional setups, material selection or product design is treated as a linear process. We take a multiphysicsview analyzing real-world wear scenarios through mechanical, thermal, and fluid-dynamic interactions. This enables us to model how slurry, aggregate, or material flow affects a component over time.

This scientific approach allows us to simulate, validate, and fine-tune each product before it even reaches the field. It’s what sets us apart from simply making a “product basket.” Every solution we deliver is case-specific, yet highly repeatable thanks to our process control and material consistency.

How does your Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system support this innovation-driven model?

Our PLM system pivots on a continuous development framework. Instead of a “one-size-fits-all” model, we operate on iterative design every field feedback, performance data, and lab test loop back into product improvement.

This ensures traceability, repeatability, and scalability across all plants, whether it’s for a polyurethane screen, ceramic liner, or carbide scraper. Our PLM also integrates design, testing, and quality control, making the transition from prototype to production remarkably fast and data-backed.

What role does research collaboration play in your company’s journey?

We firmly believe innovation thrives in collaboration. Our association with IITs across India and global technology consortiums keeps us aligned with the world’s latest research in polymers, surface engineering, and wear analysis.

These partnerships allow us to access advanced testing methodologies, understand evolving tribological mechanisms, and introduce new materials faster to the market. It’s a bridge between academia and real-world industrial applications and it helps us stay future-ready.

Could you highlight some of your flagship products and the industries you serve?

Certainly. Our portfolio covers a wide spectrum of wear solutions:

Polyurethane Screens & Liners – Optimized for high wear and clogging resistance in mining and sand applications.

Tungsten Carbide Scrapers – Designed for continuous cleaning efficiency on conveyors with excellent edge retention.

Ceramic Wear Liners – Ideal for chutes, hoppers, and transfer points where extreme abrasion occurs.

Composite Components – Combining multiple materials for superior mechanical and hydrolytic stability.

Our clients include leading OEMs and corporates in the mining, cement, steel, and power sectors organizations that value both performance and reliability.

What do you believe defines JAWS WEARLAY’s identity in the wear-solution space?

Our identity rests on precision, partnership, and performance. We don’t just sell a part we analyze the customer’s process, simulate their wear pattern, and build a tailored solution that ensures operational continuity.

Every micro-detail matters to us from polymer chemistry to surface finish because we know wear doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s a system-level challenge, and we’re solving it with science, not guesswork.

Finally, what message would you like to share with industry visitors at EXCON 2025?

EXCON 2025 represents the spirit of progress in India’s engineering ecosystem. To everyone visiting, I’d say let’s move from replacement to reliability. Let’s collaborate on technologies that extend equipment life, optimize performance, and reduce total cost of ownership.

At JAWS WEARLAY, we’re ready to partner with every industry that believes in advancing through innovation.
