Construction machinery manufacturers are driving digitalisation forward

With the MiC 4.0 database, they
are making the construction machinery market more transparent. This makes it
easy and reliable to find machines that meet the MiC 4.0 standard and have been
validated.
This benefits manufacturers and users alike, as construction companies, hire firms, dealers, and other buyers can gain a concise overview, compare options, and find the right machine more quickly. Manufacturers who list their machines in the database increase the visibility of their offerings and help to digitise and streamline construction processes.
Many well-known manufacturers are already using the MiC 4.0 database. For users, broad coverage of the respective machine portfolio is particularly relevant. Current examples include Wacker Neuson (Group) with 46 machines, Liebherr (Group) with 38 machines, Bomag with 23 machines, Schwing with 22 machines, and Ammann with 14 machines. By participating, these companies are responding to customer and machine user demand for simpler, more efficient, digitised construction processes.
"Every machine
listing published makes the digital construction machinery market more
transparent and helps users to find the right machine more easily. This is
precisely what the MiC 4.0 database is all about,' says the MiC 4.0
secretariat. 'We encourage every manufacturer to test their own machines
against the MiC 4.0 standard and add them to the database!'
MiC 4.0 is an international consortium in cooperation with the VDMA and HDB. Companies, universities and research institutions can become members.
