Gujarat's infrastructure sector has emerged as an example for other Indian states to follow. While the Indian government prioritized infrastructure development as a key contributor to achieve the national objective of becoming a $5 trillion economy, Gujarat pioneered the establishment of a legal framework for Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in the infrastructure sector. Consequently, the state has experienced exemplary growth over the past decade. A prime example of the strategic importance of Gujarat in the national infrastructure development is the role of the state in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). Gujarat also features two prominent ones of smart cities planned in India —GIFT City and Dholera Smart City. These modern cities are being built as special investment regions including an international airport at Dholera for global connectivity.

GUJARAT CONEX 2025

Gujarat Conex was initiated in 2023 with the objective of bringing to the region the latest technology to serve the massive infrastructure projects underway in Gujarat and the booming overall regional construction industry. This inaugural edition was successful beyond expectations. The respective strengths of all three organizers were exercised and the show was extremely well received by all stakeholders of the infrastructure development in the region - - the machinery manufacturers, the builders, contractors and policy makers from the government.

The 2nd edition of Gujarat Conex will help consolidate the exhibition’s growing reputation as Western India’s definitive trade show of the construction industry. For three days, it will once again bring together all stakeholders for a robust interaction resulting in substantial and lasting outcomes for the progress of infrastructure development in the region.
